Professor Mandana (Mandy) Nikpour is a rheumatologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney and a researcher in the field of systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases at the University of Sydney. Her research interests include risk and prognostic factors for clinically important outcomes in lupus and scleroderma, development of clinical tools for screening and prediction of outcome, measurement of disease activity and damage, and clinical trials of novel therapies in the rheumatic diseases. Prof Nikpour is a Fellow of the prestigious Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences and has received numerous prizes and awards for research achievements.
